Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849) is a famous Polish composer and pianist, an
embodiment of a romantic artistry, not only by belonging to a romantic
music style period, but also by his life, the plentitude of tormentuous
events, personal and social suffering, love, travel and encounters.
Chopin himself was known to have organized and participated in numerous
benefit concerts. In Paris he organized and performed at concerts
benefiting the aid of Polish refugees.
