Who is/was Doug Larson? Several "Doug Larsons" result in the internet searches; and I had no luck finding additional information about him when I searched the quote. The sites just gave his name.
Given the number of quotations attributed to Doug Larson, I am going to guess that the author is the one born in 1926 and wrote a daily column in the Green Bay (Wisconsin) Press Gazette and a weekly column in the Door County (Wisconsin) Advocate.
