Austria has produced a stamp on Ludwig Wittgenstein, a philosopher who died in 1961, 50 years ago, and whose work was most influential.

Rene Descartes had a stamp from France in his honour. He was a philosopher, biologist, mathematician and more. http://www.wfu.edu/~kuz/Stamps/Descartes/Descartes.html
